Please note that if you are a beneficiary of Directive 2004/38/EC (the “Free Movement Directive”) i.e. a qualifying family member” of an EU/EEA/Swiss citizen and are required to attend at a visa application centre for the purpose of providing your biometric information you are exempt from the charge. However, if you wish to use the visa application centre facilities to submit your documents to an Irish consular facility you will be required to pay a reduced service charge rate .
